Save Even More With SavingStar!

If you have been following me since I first started this page, then you have probably already heard me talk about SavingStar a few times.  I really can’t stress enough how easy it is to use and save more money by using these e-coupons in addition to the coupons you may or may not be using (hopefully by now you are using coupons if you weren’t before, and if you aren’t, then now is a great time to start!)

For those who are not familiar with SavingStar, here is a llittle info on how it works:

SavingStar issues out e-coupons, which attach to your store loyalty cards. You select the coupons that you may use. These coupons are not considered Manufacturer coupons, nor are they store coupons, so even if you have a SavingStar coupon for a product, you can still stack a manufacturers coupon and a store coupon with it.

Here’s how it works:You select the coupons that you want to use or may use from either the website or the mobile app. These will automatically attach to ALL of your store cards that you link to your SavingStaraccount, so no matter which of the stores you make that purchase at, you will collect the savings. (this does not mean you can buy the product at 5 stores and get the savings at 5 stores – it means if you buy the product at Rite Aid you will get the savings, just as if I were to buy the product at CVS instead)SavingStar coupons will NOT change your total cost of the purchase you are making AT THE REGISTER. What happens is once you have purchased the item(s) you have selected to attach to your store cards, the balance of the coupons you’ve chosen goes into your SavingStar account in 2-30 days (some stores take longer to send their reports to SavingStar than others do). SavingStarwill email you once the savings have been added to your account.Once your SavingStar account balance has reached $5 or more, you are able to select your payout. You can chose between having the balance deposited into your bank account, a Paypal account, an Amazon gift card, or you can donate the amount to charity.

Personally, I generally just click off all of the coupons that are available, incase I happen to purchase one of the items – sometimes I have purchased things without even knowing I had a SavingStar coupon for that item.

So, if you haven’t already, head on over and sign up at to start saving even more when you shop!
